Easy to install with no leaks

I use this waste and overflow a lot. It helps me deal with floor joist issues ,and is fast to install, and never leaks if you are a skilled installer. Some floor joists are TGI type joists and one cannot notch the upper flange at all ever. It lets me swing the tee out and over the joist and the flex part takes care of the rest. It is also available with different stoppers. The labor savings are tremendous . All tub openings have misalignment issues at the drain and overflow opening. This product deals easily with those issues. If you are not a skilled mechanic do not expect miracles. All products are subject to the skill level of the installer. This product does not require super special skills, just attention to detail that all plumbing requires.

I needed to replace the drain and overflow shoe assembly on an existing tub in a second floor bathroom. A floor joist was directly under the overflow, so the original PVC fittings had been joined at angles and the whole assembly was ill-fitting. This Flex assembly made it easy for me to work around the obstructing floor joist and do everything from under the tub, where the ceiling had already been damaged by the leak. I avoided having to cut the wall a the end of the tub, and made up a nice assembly with square joints.
