1/2" Threaded Full Port Ball Valve w/ T-Handle (Lead Free)

I found this valve on SupplyHouse's site one day while looking through the various alternatives that they offer. I instantly recognized that this style handle would be great for two (2) of my current projects. One involves re-plumbing a new sink/cabinet/mini-hot water heater installation where having this type of handle allows a more compressed plumbing and valve arrangement. This valve will be the main shut-off for that installation. The other job involves installing one as an isolation valve between a Spiorvent Micro-Bubble Eliminator manifold and expansion tank. Installing a shut-off in this application will preclude having to drain the system every time the tank needs replacement. The 1/2" FNPT size fits in there well. You don't find these at the "big box store".

I use these as isolation valves on hydronic heating manifolds (both "supply" & "return"). The "T" handle saves space, but still easy to operate. It's good quality and a bit less expensive than the "Legend" valves that I have used in the past. I use the FIP version, with a copper. C X MIP adapter, to avoid over heating the valve seal material when I sweat them in.
