rough casting, decent machining
Used this with a propex ep swivel adapter in 1/2 inch to connect to my shower body on the boat. Had to drill it out with a half inch drill and file the end flat on the male side for the adapter to fit in and seal. If you are sealing on both ends with the threads in a standard aplication, they will work just fine out of the box.
