Won't use again
I installed these on a two unit domestic water manifold so I could drain each unit individuallyif needed. They leaked by when in the off position and caused damage to the property. When I inquired with Supplyhouse,com, Katie told me they have good reviews on their website and offered me a refund. Totally blew off the damage caused by the valve. Less than impressed!

Replacement for mismatched valve shipped
Great valves. I was shipped 2 different valves from 2 mfg's. (didn't match). SH sent me shipping label and shipped matching valve that day. Never had any other issues from past orders. Great service. SH is my "go to" without looking at others.

Q: Can you use this valve on a hot water line and for potable water? Under instructions - Pressure/Temperature limits - it says 100 degrees Fahrenheit max? I am a beginner at plumbing but I'm sure my hot water is hotter than 100F. Thanks

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffYes, this ball valve can be used in potable water systems. The temperature limit depends on the pressure being applied to the system. For example at 100 degrees F the maximum pressure rating is 600 PSI.

The Ball Valve is bi-directional, as all Ball Valves are, but the drain port is only on one side of the valve, which usually determines the valve installation.

It's a ball valve so direction does not matter, however the drain may end up on the wrong side if your trying to drain with the valve closed. Sent from my iPhone

The Ball Valve should be mounted so the handle is convenient for your customer. The handle on the ball valve can be removed and then, using a crescent wrench the ball can be turned so that the drain works in your specific application. Webstone supplies a little replacement sticker with the ball valve to let you show just how this particular ball valve / drain is set up.
