Yes, this is the correct replacement part for the Series 1 & 2 Ultra 155
Absolutely fits! I replaced the blower on my Ultra 155 with this blower and it fit perfectly. The kit includes gaskets and new bolts to attach the blower assembly to the heat exchanger. You can use the old bolts if you prefer, but the new bolts are included nonetheless. Also, good instructions are included with the kit, so no need to fly blind. If you are a DIYer, do yourself a big favor and mark the positions of all bolts and gaskets with a magic marker before disassembly. It's not hard to do if you are careful. Tools you will need are a medium size phillips screwdriver, a T25 Torx bit and 5/32" Allen bit. Suggest you use a small driver handle for the bits, as access space to some of the bolts is limited. Regarding diagnosis, I noticed for several days prior to the boiler not starting that the blower sounded much louder than normal. It didn't rattle or make noise, just the hum from its operation seemed louder. I got a Code E28 when the boiler finally would not start. I reset the boiler and never got the E28 code again, which seemed odd. After reset, the boiler would halt at Sequence 5 and go no further. This suggested to me that the blower was at fault. I was correct in this diagnosis. After replacement, I noticed that the plastic blower vanes had broken internally which apparently had stopped the blower cage from turning. The new blower is MUCH less noisy that the original, even when it was new.
