The 50M56-743 kit is an automatic gas HSI Integrated Furnace Control that employs a microprocessor to continually
monitor, analyze, and control the proper operation of the gas
burner, inducer, and fan.
Signals interpreted during continual surveillance of the thermostat and flame sensing element initiate automatic ignition of the burner, sensing of the flame, and system shut-off during normal operation.
These controls incorporate system fault analysis for quick gas flow shut-off, coupled with automatic ignition retry upon sensing a fault correction.

Fixed my issue
I had a burned out capacitor on my original board, it's for my cabin in a remote area where I don't have reliable techs. The replacement came fast, plugged it in and voila. Furnace is working again. Saved me a ton of $$$ and time.

Superior service and part
Ditto most of the comments previously. Part was an exact fit for my Goodman furnace. I did not have to modify any connectors. Don't be too surprised this board does not look like the picture, different color and new part #. Where it counts connections and fit are exactly the same. Also, after I installed it and repowered the furnace, I found I had to reset the manual limit switches. Works like new now.

I would purchase again.
After receiving the board, I was able to install it with minimal effort. Everything was plug and play except for the flame sensor. Had to manufacturer another wire from the sensor directly to the board. Works perfectly.
