The 36G22 combination gas valve is designed for direct spark ignition (DSI) and hot surface ignition (HSI) system applications. This valve is equipped with redundant and main solenoid valves that control gas flow to the main burners, a pressure regulator and a two-position on/off switch for regulation and electrical shut-off of the solenoid valves. It's OK, but not universal out of the box
It's described as a universal gas valve that is compatible with propane, but it doesn't include an LP kit. Not sure why a "universal" gas valve wouldn't include an LP spring - other universal valves do (including W/R 36H32-423). It would be nice if SupplyHouse's description made it clear that an LP kit is required for propane. It's still way cheaper than a Honeywell though.

Handy Valve for truck stock
This valve is common for many furnace manufacturers. I keep them in stock for just in case, and the price is very good from Supplyhouse.com so I've been grabbing them there when I need one.
