Threads are defective. You will need two washers to make a seal.

As other reviewers have stated, you have to shove a second gasket in the female garden thread adapter to make it seal on a standard garden hose male end. Very lame for an otherwise good gauge. I would not recomend.

The only thing I would ask for would be this gauge assembly available at a 0-100 psi range. City pressure here is only about 50psi, and actually is usually less.

The gauge is accurate and works in a pinch. I bought 2 gauges and within 2 weeks, both gauges would read 35psi when it was not connected to anything

Parts appear to be well built. Gauge connection to the swivel is too small to be sealed easily by the rubber gasket. It needs a thin stainless washer and another thin gasket to seal properly. I was able to use on some hose connections by using two gaskets, but there is not much thread engaged. It did not have a maximum indicator.

I may only need this thing once, but it did its job well. It attaches to a male hose connection and comes with a good quality rubber washer for a good seal. I didn't see it in the description, but it also has a max-pressure marker needle if you want to leave it connected a while and record the maximum pressure. I used it for water pressure.
