Nice added touch
This chrome tube that fits over the 1/2 PEX worked nicely. I used PEX A which expands the PEX at the fitting so I still have a small 1/2 of blue PEX showing at the shut-off fitting because the tube would not fit over the expanded portion. Had I used PEX B, I imagine it would not show because it would not have been expanded and instead it would have been crimped. However, the mount showing is not at all an issue.

Chrome Finishing Sleeve for 1/2" stub out
I have not installed these sleeves yet but slipped them on copper stubs out to see how they fit. Perfect! Remodeling two bathrooms and wanted a high end finish for the shut offs under the wall hung sink and toilets. Can't wait to see them in my new bathrooms.

Nice touch to allow extra pex to come out of wall.
I ran new pex everywhere and wanted the toilet and faucet sybout to look nice and be protected. I wanted to have extra pex on the stub out so if the valve ever needs tobe replaced I don't have to cut into the walls. I used this with the smaller pece that expands more to cover the Pex-A expansion ring. This gives me plenty of excess that looks decent just in case.

Makes visible ox connections more presentable
Re-pipes my home and for the visible pex connection under sinks and toilets I did not want to see the white pipe with printing on it. I used Pex A and put the Uponor chrome trim on, but I wanted to leave enough pex out of the wall so if I ever have to replace a stop valve I don't have to go into the wall. So this was a perfect fix to cover the pex and give a nice finished look. It also provide a little protection for the pipe.

Perfect for that finished look
This sleeve is perfect for giving you that finished look anywhere your have a fitting leaving a wall (toilet, under a sink, etc.). It fits easily over any type of 1/2-inch piping to include copper, CPVC, PEX and makes them all look like a high end chrome pipe leaving the wall.

Q: Will this size be too big to cover a 1/4 toilet copper supply line. I want to hide the copper pipe when I install a new toilet and chrome shut off valve.
