Q: how many btu heat source is needed to run the 500 sq ft heat package? And how many gallon reservoir tank is recommended?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThe Joist Trak system will give you a maximum of 35 BTUs per square foot. You should be able to use any expansion tank that is part of your heating system already.

Q: I am looking to run a radiant heat system in my addition. 320 sq ft. should i run the 250 pack-edge and add a little pipe or go with the 500.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffYou should be able to get by with the 250 square foot package, especially if there are areas in the room that will not need tubing beneath them (cabinets, etc.).
