Disappointed by the frustrating design choices
The interior fitting does not have a hex design or even 2 flat surfaces to get a wrench onto. So it was really tough to get a good grip on this while also trying to steady my flimsy female cpvc pipe/fitting that it goes into with a second wrench. Also, I don't really get why the wall flange on the outside is a separate, loosely-fitting piece. This leaves a gap for water and bug intrusion between the flange and the pipe, and all the torque from an attached hose and normal use of the handle, gets transferred to two tiny tabs on the flange piece, so the whole thing has a little play in it. I suppose you're supposed to caulk the tiny gaps to keep bugs and water out, which will end up looking sloppy. Really disappointed at these basic design fails for the price.

1st choice sillcock
These sillcocks seem to be a great industry standard. It is nice to be able to change the inner seals and parts after wear over time. It would be nice to be able to leave the faucet on and pressurized (like with a hose or timer connected), but they are not recommended to be used like that. Overall good value.

I only install these for customers
I only install these for my customers. I know this doesn't burst because even me as a plumber has left my hose attached during the winter and it's still good. However I do install these only with a dedicated shut off so that helps. However Ive forgotten to turn my shutoff off and it still never bursts. I trust these. There's a reason that're way for expensive than the junk in the stores.
