Woodford Spigot Assembly
Waiting for warmer weather to install. Spigot assembly is same as original assembly. Should be perfect for what I need. Replaced assembly with a universal unit. Control knob sheared off within a year. Ordered this assembly because it is a single valve control not a pieced unit.

the measurements are for the WALL, not the product.
Had to do an exchange because the 8" didn't fit. The 8" the is the measurement for the WALL not the rod itself. I did not know that. I am no a plumber. It would be nice to list a photo of the actual diagram or a description showing the over length of the rod. Otherwise, once I reduced in size, it fit perfectly.

Even though the description is 8" and the valve measures 10" , the valve works great.

Greg is correct, the overall measurement of the replacement rod should be 9-7/8" according to Woodford. This is because they list the Wall Thickness for the sillcock/repair kit is designed for instead of the overall length. So RK-PRV-8 is the repair kit for the sillcock that is designed for an 8" wall.
