Installed this new check valve while replacing grinder pump. I like that the valve uses glued mounts but allows compression fitting - great for pump inspection and maintenance without having to cut any pvc or risk ripping rubber slip fittings on other types of valves. It has been a month since replacement so I can't offer any insight regarding longevity.

I am using this product for a lower level sewer lift to replace another brand valve that was noisy, been installed 2 weeks and I am not disappointed in my choice of product, Only wish I would have done this years ago.

My old check valve (installed 20 yrs ago) was making a loud banging noise when the sewage pump turned off. I thought the pump was failing but after some Utube research, I determined that the check valve was the likely culprit. I ordered a new one and swapped out the old. It was a little messy but not too difficult. The check valve works as advertised - very quiet.

For my installations the operation of this valve is quiet. The fittings for me were just hand tight and made the fitting water tight. Easily removed and checked for operation and possible obstructions in future.

The check valve was recommended to stop the "kaboom" everytime the sewage ejector system sent the waste from the basement level to the street level. Works perfectly. No more sonic booms. This check valve should be part of every original installation of ejector systems.

First valve ended up leaking after about 2 years in service, had to replace it. Hope this one lasts a bit longer. Shipping was lightning fast, great customer service.
