4 QuestionsQ: What about M18 expander heads for metric PEX sizes? ie 25 x 2.3 PEX ; 32 x 2.9 PEX ; and 40 x 3.7 PEX pipes

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffMetric-sized heads are not offered by the manufacturer (at least not in the American market).
If the question is will the standard heads work, I think they will. There is only .016 for 1 inch, .009 for 11/4inch and .007 for 1.5 inch and difference between the size metric size and the standard size. The largest difference, .016, is about the thickness of a business card. I would measure the outside of the metric fittings and compare to the standard fitting for an accurate comparison.
Q: Does the m18 come with all the heads from 1/2 to 1 1/2 ....

Q: I am building a water bottling plant. I was wondering if the M18 ProPex Expansion Tool Kit will work on Aquapex Tubing. I will be making connection from 1/2" to 1 1/2" Is using the ProPex easy to use for a beginner? Dose Aquapex Tubing come in sizes from 1/2" to 1 1/2"? Dose Aquapex Tubing come is 1 1/4" also?

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffExpansion tools are not difficult to use, but (like anything else) a little bit of practice may be necessary before you get used to using them. AquaPEX is available in 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1-1/4". 1-1/2", 2", and 3" sizes in various coil lengths.
Pretty sure we had some corporate manuvers and name changes but. Aquapex is made by Uponor (also goes by the name Wirsbo). It requires expansion rings to be put on tube. And yes, the expansion tool works great with aquapex. 1/2 to 1-1/2 is available. Each size takes a different head on the expansion tool. It is great for a beginner, make sure you rotate tool between expansions. 1-1/4 is available. This site has everything you need, look through the installation parts.
Q: If the m12 heads don't work on the m18 expander, that means I have to buy both the m12 and m18 expanders to do 1/2 and 3/4 pex conections as well as 1 1/4 inch connections. That could get expensive. Or are there different m18 expansion heads for 1/2 and 3/4 connextions?
