Too short
These would be great...except they're too short. They should be 17.5" long so they span completely from the outside edge of a joist to the other outside edge of a joist. Instead, you have to tack an extra block onto one joist so the flange has something to screw into. It's like no one actually tested this in the field. It's a bizarre design oversight.
Even so, it's nice to force the drywalls to make make the hole for you.
