Mine has been working great since 2011
This switch was a lot cheaper in 2011 when I bought it. I was nervous about it's reliability when I bought it but here I am 8 years later and it has lasted way longer than a mechanical P-switch and settings don't drift away with time. It is so easy to adjust pressure settings versus fumbling with mechanical switches. I hate those now that I have this electronic dream. I love this thing. I didn't buy it from SupplyHouse back then but I had to add my two cents for the doubters on here. It's an Amtrol product so anyone having problems with these are far and few between and just had bad luck in my opinion. Amtrol makes superior product especially their well tanks. Yeah they are expensive but you get what you pay for.

Bad experience
Installed with new plumbing and Amtrol pressure tank. Performed well, after few years switch allowed pressure to build to over 100 psi blowing out toilet seals. Not happy camper.

Still going strong since 2021!
I put this product in back in 2021 as the old mechanical one started to act up. Those are also a pain to program without wasting water. Not with this digital one. I chose this on purpose due to the small closet it's in. I only had to set it once when installed and been working great since. It's expensive but well worth it. Very easy to work with and reset. It flashed errors a couple times during power outages but I simply reset the breaker and started working again. Supply House has been excellent to buy from. Great shipping policy's. Always will buy from them over others when it comes to this industry.

Easy install and works as its describes. Totally quiet no clicking and stays very consistent between the set PSI settings. Very easy to adjust pressure settings I will never put the mechanical ones on again

Very easy to wire up, so much quieter than my old pressure switch.I did put a small 1/4" npt valve right below it, just in case it takes a crap on me, I can change it out without draining my entire tank. It was installed in May of 2024, so no
long term reliability data yet.

The guardian works perfectly.
This digital pressure control eliminates the use of the cheap Square-D pressure control, with for many pumps has many glitches. This installed in it's place and works perfectly.

Guardian CP Control
Replaced my existing one when it was damaged by a water leak, switch is only water proof when the correct gaskets are used at the knockouts. Great price and fast shipping keep me a repeat customer of SupplyHouse

Great product, very expensive
I replaced a traditional (mechanical) pressure switch with this solid state/digital pressure switch. The installation was straightforward and I love the fact that a) since it's solid state, I shouldn't ever have to replace it and b) it's digital, so it's very easy to set and check.
However, at the end of the day it's a pressure switch. There's absolutely nothing about it in terms of its components or its functionality that justifies a price tag of nearly $300. Is it good value for money? Definitely not. But does the product work well and is it a huge improvement over the traditional mechanical version? Absolutely.

Dont buy without confirming your tank is on their list
Have a new 119 Gallon pressure tank, water worker brand. Guardian CP ran the pump for about 5 minutes before ceasing to work. The digital display no longer has any reading at all. Supply House will not warranty the item because the pressure tank I have is not on their "approved list". Which you cant find anywhere on the product page. The details of their warranty only including certain pressure tanks for use with this pressure switch is not to be found on the product page.

Supply House delivers great customer service
Great product and customer service! Supply house replaced my item when UPS failed to deliver the item to my door and instead left it under a tree to be picked up by a stranger walking by.
