1-1/4" x 13" Center to End Union Brass Tank Tee (Lead Free)

Purchased as main component in a set. Had it professionally installed, plumber was very happy with the quality and I am very happy with the price

I installed this tee on my new pressure tank a little over a year ago. The install was easy and I love that it has a union to make the install that much easier. This summer I noticed a small puddle of water under the tee. I thought I just hadn't gotten the thread tape in there well enough, so I put a bucket under it and was going to come back and fix it later. Other the next couple months the leak got worse. I finally got around to fixing it and found that the tee was split in two places. I am guessing I tightened the fitting into it too tightly and it was over stressed and split over time. I will buy another one and use PVC fittings this time. I tried to get a picture but it is too dark to see it. I'll see if I can get a good picture after I replace it.

Hard to give a fair review since I just installed the product. What I can say is that the construction seems solid, and I had no problem installing faucet, water line, pressure switch, etc. The union is water tight and I barely tightened it with a wrench after hand tight. Would give 5 star, but only 10 years from now when I can see how it lasts. Shipping was extremely fast.

This is an awesome tank Tee! When I replaced my tank, I bought this Tee. I didn't realize that it had a union fitting when I ordered it. Id never seen one like it at any hardware store. After connecting everything and using it for a week, there was still an annoying leak at both supply connections on the Tee. My supply lines are 3/4" PEX, so I'd used cheap PVC adapter bushings to use on this larger diameter Tee. A week later I replaced these leaky PVC ones with the correct 3/4" pex x 1" mip. Somehow the Tee to tank connection got loosened and created a messy leak underneath, that I discovered the next day. Thanks to having this Tee with a union fitting, I tightened the loose place and straightened everything back up without needing to take anything apart. Worth the indulgence.

Heavy brass tank tee perfect for my well pressure tank application. I like the union for ease of service in the future. Would recommend, and would buy again. Item was packaged properly, shipped, and received in a timely manner.

Nice quality brass components and quick delivery from Reno (next day service at standard delivery charge). Good value for the quality. My only gripe - and its pretty small - is that I wanted the 40/60 psi pressure switch, but the package is advertised with a 30/50 only. My customer rep tried to send a message to the warehouse to switch it out. It didn't work. Given that the parts were separately wrapped, I'm surprised they couldn't accommodate the small change. Anyway, I was able to return the pressure switch for the one I needed very easily. Overall good customer service.

Next time I should order the extended 14" version so it can fit the pressure tank Well-X-Trol WX302 with the Guardian CP Control without having to put a smaller nipple onto it to make it work
