Product was still OK
The box was torn and had some holes. I was surprised that there was no additional packing cardboard along the edges. This tank was a fairly expensive item so I was surprised by the minimal packaging. However, the tank was still OK, so no problem with the product.

Well Tank was Dented by where the Union Tee screws in. I don't think this was a SH problem but came from the OEM like that. No biggie, still a top quality Well Tank WX-205 (147S44) WX-205 Well-X-Trol 7 year warranty and fits nicely in a crawlspace

Excellent product poorly packaged
The tank arrived via UPS in a flimsy cardboard box with no padding. The box was torn open on the bottom. It has a dent in the tank and the base of the integrated stand is (was) bent. I was able to straighten the thin steel of the stand with channel locks so it didn't rock, although the paint had cracked and flaked off. I installed it and it works fine.

Good product, great size, needs to be packed better
High quality tank and the size is good for space saving. First one was damaged in transit and the return was fairly straightforward. The replacement was still damaged in transit but less and I'm just going to deal with it because I don't want to go through the return process again. Wouldn't happen if it was packaged better in the box.

Q: What is the Pressure relief on the top of the tank set to? 135psi? (10% below tank failure pressure) and can you change the pre charge pressure at any time?

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffAccording to the install instructions, "The relief valve should be installed at the connection of the WELL-X-TROL to the system piping and have a discharge equal to the pump's capacity at 125 psig." The precharge can only be changed when the system is not pressurized.
