I have already bought a spare set of filters
Top rated filter by consumer reports. I am glad I upgraded to Merv 13 from Merv 11 filters with Covid going around. The old Merv 11's lasted 2-3 of years as we only ran them with the AC. I will still be happy with these if I only get a year out of them. We are running our units round the clock these days though. I think it is likely. It said they were good for a year on the box.

Days to place a specific way into the furnace but no marking on the product showing which side should face the furnace

SupplyHouse is a good source for these large a/c fillters
These are not hardware store filters, but price and delivery are very good. These are theoretically "one year" filters, I have two in my system, and generally replace them a bit more frequently than that. But the filters ae very effective, even if I forget.
