Great Commercial-Grade Unit!

I've had bad luck with junk name brand dehumidifiers in my basement w/ crawl space. When the last one crapped out, I decided to go in this direction. High heat and humidity had my basement at 92%RH!! I put this unit into service by leveling and putting on floor w/ temporary drain to solve the problem. Over a week, went down to 41% and has been maintaining fine in low 50's. Quiet, efficient, and a moisture sucking monster!! Works great so far, was going to go bigger but am glad I went with the E80. Very happy with this unit…

Excellent dehumidifier

This unit has an impressive metal build quality. Built in Wisconsin. The installation was quite straight forward and the connection options flexible. The only problem I have is that I cannot see the control panel in either mounting position. That is clearly due to how tight my install is. Not really a problem as I am controlling the unit with our thermostat(s). I'm glad that I was able to fit the unit in the space available. It recently has started running during a few 90deg May days. So far the unit is quiet, efficient (490w while running), and effective. The house is a new build (approx. 4,200sf including the basement), well insulated and sealed and the heat pump does not need to run much to keep the temp down - the E080 is taking up the slack on humidity control. I'll try to revisit this review in a year to update on the performance. Thanks Aprilaire & SupplyHouse!

Hi Bob! The air coming out of the outlet of the dehumidifier should be anywhere from 10-30F above the temperature of the air going into the inlet of the dehumidifier.
