BetterVent Indoor Dryer Vent

If your looking for s quick solution to dryer venting inside the home this is a good option, but it's not perfect. For example, there is still some dust associated with use. It is also going to be delivering warm moist air inside the home which isn't a bad idea in the winter, but not sure how it will work in the summer. The supplied filter and lint screen ore filter don't fit right enough for my liking. You have to clean the lint screen every 5 or 6 loads to keep it from purging through the emergency bypass door. My dryer flowed so much air I had to use every bit of the supplied weights to keep the bypass door closed. That being said it's an easy install, and all our laundry is now dry in one cycle, which took 4 or 5 cycles prior to using due to a poorly installed home exterior vent we plan to repair later. This would be a perfect solution for a dryer in a garage or other building that just needs a filter of some sort. I would buy it again.

First, way better than the water-trap options. Second, the screen/filter arrangement is pretty lame, and seems designed to ensure that you buy a bunch of filters. Why can't there be a metal screen filter, similar to what's used in the dryer itself, instead of this two-stage system which is hard to clean and requires you purchase replacement filters on a regular basis? Oh...because then you wouldn't have to buy replacement filters. How stupid of me. I still think it's a good design though, but will have to find a better filtering solution on my own.
