I would buy this product again
I used this product in an unusual but could not find any other product. My outdoor ceiling fan would start to swing violently in heavy winds and two blades have already been destroyed. Please look at the picture on how I used the 3/4" Split Ring Extensions to secure the fan down tube. I purchased 4 - 3/4" Split Ring Extension Hangers. I took them apart and then combined into two then screwed the threaded rod into each hanger 90 degrees apart. (see pictures) Used some touch-up paint on the Extension Hanger to match the fan. Works Perfectly!
