- Frost-proof sillcock from Bluefin
- 1/2" MIP x 1/2" inside sweat inlet connection
- Lead free construction suitable for potable water applications
- Exterior hose outlet operated by a handle at the wall plate
Compatibility & Applications:
- Intended for installation as an exterior wall faucet on residential or light commercial buildings
- Connects to interior 1/2" piping using the sweat and MIP inlet configuration listed
- Used to provide a hose connection outside while helping protect the valve seat inside the insulated portion of the wall
Installation & Operation Notes:
- Install with the inlet connection pitched toward the outlet so that water drains away from the interior when shut off
- Sweat or thread the 1/2" inlet to the interior supply piping according to the chosen connection type
- Mount the sillcock through the wall with appropriate support and sealing at the exterior wall plate
- After installation, operate the handle to verify smooth opening and closing and check for leaks at all joints
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
- Shut off water and drain the line if the sillcock requires service or if freezing conditions exist and the installation does not permit proper self-draining
- Inspect the stem and packing area if dripping occurs from the handle area and service according to sillcock repair instructions
- If the valve fails to shut off completely, examine the seat and washer areas and replace parts as needed

Great prices, great selection, great service!
I have made several purchases from Supplyhouse.com over the past years and have been very satisfied with price, selection and service.
This is the 5th Frost-Free Sillcock I have purchased over the past 2 years from SupplyHouse.com. So far they have worked well. I like this 12 inch model because it comes with a little vinyl spacer that helps you mount it with a slight downward slope (to aide in draining when you turn it off). The handle seems to be composite or coated with vinyl?.... anyway, has not rusted!
What else can you say except that they work well and look good?

I would not buy again due to male pipe thread.
Had to buy a 1/2 inch pipe die as chrome plating on threads would only allow about a half turn when installing one of you 1/2 inch to 1/2 inch PEX fittings. Fitting was fine with other 1/2 inch pipe threads but not with frost free hose silcock male threads. Chrome plating was problem.

Product seems to be a good quality, reasonably well made inside. However, service life is hard to predict as it installed only about a months ago. Installation went as expected. No any surprises. Maybe a bit shorter than expected because it is not clear how the stated length is measured.

This outside hydrant is good one.
My friend accidentally left his water hose hooked up during the winter and the ice that froze up in it broke the hydrant. We ordered the new hydrant from Supplyhouse due to the fast shipping and fair pricing.
