Just as good as the 12" but really handy if you need just a little more length.

Really nice supply tube, the flat gasket for the top is nice, not rock solid like other brands, gives me confidence it will seal first try.

If you're still old school and prefer a solid line, these are nice and have decent wall diameter. The big box stores tend to be lighter gauge and when the compression fitting is tightened, they distort and leak.

Maybe my opinion but I'm still fixed on using raw brass or chrome plated brass solid supply lines. I feel like using stainless flex lines is like a garden hose in the house. I've used them on many jobs and they're fast and cheaper. But the thought of having one burst is always on my mind. Refuse to use them in my own home. I did have an older white flexible line (not braided with stainless) blow out for a customer and can't get that out of my mind. Tons of water damage. Thank goodness I wasn't the one that put it in. The stainless braided lines have been pretty good but still the same plastic underneath that braiding. Just my two cents. Also when getting a one like this from the supply house versus a big box, the brass material is a bit thicker. The big box store variety is thinner and tends to leak where the compression sleeve fits.

I have been using these toilet risers for over 20 years. The last batch I bought are junk. The top seal has always been yellow and soft, now are clear and hard and you have to really torque them hard to prevent leaking. Worst of all is the chrome plating. When you bend the tube the chrome just flakes off. I will never buy these again.

As much as everyone wants to do flexible, it's still a potential issue. Granted the braided lines are strong, I feel like it's a garden hose in the house. Hard lines don't leak and I feel confident I won't get a call about a failure. Plus it looks nicer and retains some of the trades craftsmanship. The big box stores lines are thinner wall and usually leak. The usual junk you end up when you shop there.

These flat gasket toilet supplies are great for applications where it comes out of a wall and you don't need a 20" version. These always bend nice and easy with a tubing bender and don't crack nor does the chrome flake off. Nice and cheap here on supplyhouse.com.
