Description
–
Wall sleeves and penetration covers are used to transition from the SpeediChannel system to
a through wall penetration. The wall sleeve creates a neat hole through the wall, and the line set
is covered by the wall cover. DiversiTech's wall covers are designed to allow for easy installation
- even after the line set has been installed. A unique hooking and fastening arrangement allows
for quick and easy installation. Each wall cover is individually packed, and is furnished complete
with stainless steel screws to attach the wall cover to the base. Three screws (supplied by
others) are needed to fasten the wall cover to whatever type of wall construction the system is
being installed on.

Nice, clean thru wall access
In addition to using these for thru wall line access for a mini-split system being installed in my new build workshop, I wanted a way to be able to pass an air hose or an extension cord from inside the building to the outside in case I wanted to work outside on a project without opening either a garage door or a pedestrian door. These are an inexpensive and clean access portal for this use. I have to fabricate a closure cap when not in use but not a big deal.

Larger wall thickness but smaller inside diameter
I purchased two of these wall sleeves to run heat pump line sets, electrical wire, and condensate drain hose from the inside air handler to the outside condenser. I compared these to some less well made wall sleeves I had. I ended up using the wall sleeves with the thinner wall thickness because the inside diameter was noticeably larger and I was concerned that getting all those lines through the sleeve could be an issue. If I were running fewer or smaller lines through the sleeve I would have preferred the sturdier product. So, I will recommend this product to a friend but there is a caveat, be certain that all your stuff will fit through it before you buy it.

I will buy and use this product again.
Wish I would have discovered this sleeve years ago. For starters, a 2 1/2" hole saw/core bit allowed this sleeve to fit perfectly in wall and floor penetrations. I've used them on both wood and masonry and they really cleanup, as well as guide and protect line-sets/low voltage/drain lines. Customers are always satisfied with the clean finished look.
