Exhaust system for basement bar
I installed this unit in my basement bar because I and my buddies smoke cigars down there. It works GREAT! The area is about 4000 cubic feet in volume. There is no fan noise, only the noise from the air flow through the vents.

I have purchased several of these fans.
We use these fans to boost the airflow to over come the restriction in external filter boxes and to exhaust air from a room. Great fan. Never had any issues.

A duct booster that actually moves the air
I've tried all other sizes of duct boosters. Never found anything that actually moves the air. This one allows you to adjust it if you buy the speed controller. All reasonably priced. Customers are very happy!

I bought this blower from supply house. It came quickly. I am using it as an exhaust booster for my kitchen hood and could not be happier. It's in the attic and is controlled via Amazon Alexa. The installation was easy and straightforward.

Good exhaust fan
This replaced a squirrel cage exhaust fan venting several bathrooms. After getting just the input side attached to duct, (exhaust side left off), I turned it on and literally filled the room with dust & lint the other fan couldn't pull from the duct. So, this moves some air and does so quietly, quieter than I had anticipated. Edges of the fan around duct opening are sharp as a razor, watch yourself on installation, I cut both hands, on both ends.

Q: Can this (8") inline fan be used as a booster to my existing range hood by adding either a voltage switch or even an air flow pressure switch?
