Note: This product is designed for use with a 4" schedule 40 PVC pipe.
Rn2 Radon Fan is designed for active radon mitigation systems to employ for applications where medium suction and low flow are needed. It is a perfect choice for medium Radon levels and moderate sub-slab communication.

Manufactured from two molded plastic pieces seamlessly joined. It is inherently and permanently airtight ensuring no Radon gas leakage. A large watertight electrical wiring enclosure ensures electrical installation quick and simple. Fan motor is thermal overload protected with automatic reset and can be installed both indoors or outdoors. To simplify installation on a 3" or 4" PVC pipe, use FRIK 4x3 or FRIK 4x4 Installation kits.
NOTE: Installations that will result in condensate forming in the outlet ducting should have a condensate bypass installed to route the condensate outside of the fan housing. Conditions that are likely to produce condensate include but are not limited to: outdoor installations in cold climates, long lengths of outlet ducting, high moisture content in soil and thin wall or aluminum outlet ducting. Failure to install a proper condensate bypass may void any warranty claims.

Great Fan
The fan I replaced was discontinued. It could attach to both a 4" and 5" supply and exhaust tube. The replacement, an RN-2, only worked with 4". The data didn't state this, but the image was clear that there was only one size on each end. Got two new boots and it connected easy! It wired in just fine. Turn it on and I'd like to say it purred but I'd be lying. It really makes only a barely perceptible sound of air moving. The manometer reading was identical to the prior fan. This DIY project saved me almost $1000.00. Thank you Supply House!

False: Advertised as Direct Replacement for HP190
It is false to advertise or label this as a direct replacement for the HP190. The HP190 has a 4/5" stepped flange, but this unit is 5" only. You will need an adapter (not included), and maybe if it is a tight fit you'll have to cut or reroute pipe because the adapters are likely taller than the old couplings.

I would buy it again
I asked if the plug for the fan came with it. I was told it did. The fact it didn't wouldn't prevent me from purchasing it again. It was easy to wire the old plug to the new fan.

Got the job done.
I just got my post mitigation test back and this lowered my radon level in my basement from 7 to below 1 so I am happy with that. It quit too a lot more quite than the dryer vent but it does make a little noise when you are standing right next to it.

A first rate product with fast shipping
The radon fan arrived a day sooner than I expected it which is always good. The installation was very easy taking less than 30 minutes and the draw from this fan is better than the original fan that came with our radon mitigation system. I would use Supply House again if I ever need to.

Q: Hello, My radon system currently has a Fantech Model HP-190. The current fan is broke and I need to replace it. I see on your site that my current fan has been discontinued. Your site also says that it has been replaced with Fantech RN Series Inline Ran 4.5" pipe 220 cfm. Can you tell me if this is for sure a direct replacement for my current fan?
