A-MAZ-ING! The humming is GONE!
We had to replace our old exterior radon mitigation fan and the new fan vibrates enough that it was transmitting a loud humming noise inside our home, so much so it was difficult to be in any room on the same side of the house as the fan and exhaust pipe. We installed these LDVI couplers -- replacing the hard PVC couplers that were installed with the old fan -- and the SOUND and HUMMING disappeared!!

Excellent couplers
I installed these couplings on either side of my radon fan to reduce noise feedback into the guest closet that the inlet pipe passes through. Fan is in the attic space. These couplings replaced some previously installed PVC couplings. They worked fantastic to silence the hum that was resonating in the pipe from the fan. Also, their flexibility provides greater ease in exchanging out the fan should I decide to use a different size or if the fan ever needs replacing. They are well worth the money.
