This is the wiring harness that fits most gas boilers.
Having problems with your boiler not firing? This type of device may be the cause. This replacement part makes it straightforward to install as the damper comes with no harness. If you are replacing a different brand, you need the wiring kit. Multiple adapters are included.
They are the only brand we use, and SupplyHouse.com is now the only place we buy them!

Universal Harness
The instructions provided a list of the optional adaptors by manufacturer. The option listed for HB Smith was not as listed, but a different option in the kit. The kit should have included an additional Romex connector for securing the harness at both ends. The Romex connector provided did not slide over the heat-shrink, the I.D. was to small. I ended up cutting the heat-shrink and taping the wires to use the Romex connector.
Only option available to use with the Field Controls damper.

Provide additional plug
Product is used with the associated damper, only complaint is that a separate transition plug be supplied. If the included plug adapters do not match your boiler, you must modify one of the supplied adapters. I had to cut the end and expose the wires and the hard wired my unit.
Provide an adapter plug with only wires on one end

Great part for older unit updating
18 year old unit had hard wired connection to my failed vent damper so replacing vent damper with newer model required this universal kit to put together the right combination of connections. Worked perfectly.

Q: I have a Field Controls Model GVD-7 24VAC 60/50 Hz 80 ma and an Aquastat L8148E1257 Control. Will this Wire harness work?

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffYes, the L8148E1257 aquastat has the ability to connect to the molex plug on the field controls vent damper GVD-7. You may need the universal wiring harness 46579100 in addition.
