SDMN5, Dual-Port Manometer

This manometer is useful for checking small pressures like static pressure in a duct, from a pitot tube, or setting up gas pressure on a burner. The range and capabilities of it were the reason I bought it. Price was another consideration as it does everything I need without the great expense of some other meters. It was well worth the purchase.

Our company had 2 of these units fail in the rain, We do commercial rooftops. So we take a lot of coil and gas valve pressures. If this unit is sat simply on the side of the unit in a medium to heavy rain, I guess the top leaks by the hose taps up top I think, and the case literally fill with water. You can't just dry it out and use again it's toast. I can drop a dewalt impacter, Klein voltmeter, testo smart refrigeration probes on the roof and they get soaked and keep working I had my field piece manometer for 2 years and last week I was working in the rain. They need to adjust the casing, it shouldn't need to be ip65 but it needs to be able to just simply exist in the rain while on the side of the unit. These were not terrestrial downpours just medium to heavy rain. I would recommend to my residential friends NOT my commercial ones.
