Enclosed Relay 20 Amp DPDT with 24 Vac/dc/120 Vac Coil

I wired this in parallel to my well pump manual dpdt shut off switch with a WiFi light switch to activate 120 v coil for 220 v well pump. When I go on travel I can shut off power to well by turning manual and WiFi switches off. Then I can remotely turn well power on via WiFi only when a friend checks on house, waters plants, etc. I could have removed manual switch but kept since it will override this relay when on. (With manual switch on, pump is on whether relay is on or off.) I emailed a few questions to supplyhouse to confirm my installation and they promptly confirmed my use so I could install before latest trip.

I used the relay to control 240v equipment with a 120v switch. It arrived quickly, and was easy to install and understand with a schematic on the relay itself.

They recommend that you use 12 ga wire with these, which was perfect for the less than 20 amps load that I had. They also have a fairly low coil current requirement. Have been using it for a couple of weeks and dozens of switching cycles so far with no problems.

I have a 240 volt wall heater. I needed to put a timer to shut it off off when not in use. I installed this relay so that a 120V spring wound timer can energize the 120V relay coil, close the DPDT contacts and send power to the 240V heater.
