6FM2025 20" x 25" MERV 11 Replacement Filter

I buy these because they're a good product and supplyhouse has them the least expensive I've seen anywhere. The shipping was basically overnight for ground pricing, which I don't really understand how they did that. Anyway, the price is so good I'm switching to quarterly filter swaps instead of biannual. Don't get high filtration filters because those ones are choking your HVAC system to premature failure. In fact, that's probably responsible for the sudden failure of my previous HVAC system - it was incredibly old and stressed and a high capacity filter pushed it over the edge and caused a fissure in the heat exchange almost killing us; CO2 detectors save lives, everyone.

Initially I posted a good review, based upon the price, the speed with which I received it and my AC company's approval of the overall quality of construction. But when I tried to install it, it was too large for my Carrier system and would not fit into the slot. It was a half-inch higher than any of the other 3 companies' versions of the same filter that I had previously purchased. When I contacted Customer Service, they agreed to refund my payment, less a re-stocking fee, but I also had to pay to send it back, and purchase a suitable box to contain it because the original one was damaged upon arrival. The product was faulty in design. I want to warn any other potential purchasers of this faulty product. I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN!
