Great upgrade for a PSC blower furnace

Bought this to replace a PSC blower motor that was way oversized for the application. The new motor is much more efficient, especially at lower speeds. Since the HP is field-selectable and the fan speed control comes from the low voltage side, there is much more flexibility to get the correct airflow. The ultra-low speed for constant fan only draws 1.5A.

We would contact you for ecm motors, when we need one.

We have found ECM motors are hard to find, when we need to match. Most are people who are referred to us, since we buy finished goods the have ECM motors.

Suitable for Water Furnace

This was (mechanically) a drop in replacement for the PMC blower motor which burned up on my Water Furnace Premier geothermal unit (approx 2002 vintage). The electrical changes were easy enough, though the YouTube video makes the written instructions more clear. The motor seems nice and quiet, and I really like the low speed constant blower function to help regulate the temperature throughout the house.

Very pleased with this product

This motor was purchased as a replacement for the OEM model which had failed. It has been installed for about two years. The difference in price between the Evergreen motor and the OEM replacement was about $100.00. The Evergreen motor paid for itself in the first four months it was installed. The OEM version of this motor is about 45% efficient (from actual measurements). The Evergreen motor is about 85% efficient (from actual measurements). At lower speeds the OEM motor is even less efficient. The Evergreen motor is about 85% at all speeds. I am very pleased with the performance of this product, and with SupplyHouse.com. Excellent service. Prompt delivery. Good packing. Very, very pleased.

easy install for non professional

easy install with two caveats 1) buy/rent a fan puller and 2) use Youtube installation video--manual was confusing for me

good motors

popped them in same afternoon they came, working great original motor was rated 14.1 amps, 1 horsepower, drew around 12 amps actually, new motors draw 5.7 and 5.9 amps, so ,about half. no ramp up or down when systems start or stop but no high amp draw when starting up just gradually building up. hope they last long time
