Its nice to find two grade of products here. As a landlord its cheaper to fix it once with higher grade products than to do it twice. I deal with local plumbing supply houses and they don't seem to carry the better grade products. Also I have found their delivery often comes before the delivery date by FEDEX.

I've always used Gerber tub wastes because they are simple and solid. They're easy to install. There are fancier tub drains around but sometimes parts are difficult to find. This is a real good quality item that works and looks good. No stopper to worry about and the strainer keeps most hair and debris from going down the drain.

this is professional quality. Lots of metal, well made. --identical to the 40 year old unit it replaced. Will immediately order this exact model again. Recommend to order brass nuts to separately, if desired, to sub for the coated zinc nuts This style is more kid/renter proof-- the strainer prevents hair/toys/etc from going down the drain and causing clogs-- unlike a popup style
