Simple Solution to Wired and Wireless using a Single Stat
My wired T-stat was connected to A/C in the Attic. Needed to add a Heat control zone to same space but had a difficult challenge to get new wires between existing T-stat and heat controls. Switching to a Vision Pro 8000 Redlink and a Equipment Remote Module solved the challenge in minutes, not hours. I was able to continue using existing wires for A/C and run the Heat side R/W through the ERM at the same time. Install time savings were worth several times the cost of the ERM. As a bonus to the owner, the ERM can pass outdoor temp probe data back to the new T-stat wirelessly.
