BUY A TRANSFORMER
SKU: UV2400U1000
This kit comes with a bulb and a ballast, it does not come with a 24V transformer.
I used a White Rodgers transformer, SKU: 90-T40F3. Wired the transformer to the main board on the furnace with white (COM) and black (CONST). This constantly powers the light 'ON'. Blue wire (12v -) to black wire on ballast, yellow wire (12v +) to red wire on ballast. Requires a 2" hole saw. Light on indication through plastic bulb holder.

Good product, 3rd one I've bought for 3 different locations
I do believe the kill germs, this is my 3rd uv light I bought for 2 houses and my business. Had a hiccup with one of the uv lights and supply house customer service was fantastic in finding a solution. There IS companies that still understand service after the sale and Supply House is one of them.
