The V5013N is a three-way threaded globe valve that controls hot water, cold water, and glycol solutions (up to 50 percent concentration) in heating or cooling HVAC applications. The valves are used for mixing service to direct flow from one or two inlets to a common outlet in two-position or modulating control systems.

Does the job with some creative thinking
I bought this for my new combination wood/oil boiler. It arrived and had no literature with it. The issue that I am having with it is that there isn't a way to set it in one position. No set screw or tightening nut. I used a piece of wire to go through a predrilled hole.
Like I said, it works as long as you don't mind using some creative thinking to get the desired end result.

Yes
These files are used to control temperature and anodizing process. We used to use very large cast iron valve that took up so much space and was very difficult to handle. This product is compact and reliable.

Q: Since this is a mixing valve, With full stroke in either position, does the one port closes completely. Using on a hydronic heating system, if I want flow to not go to bypass position outlet, will flow for the valve close bypass port

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffYes they are the same. The /U is used in Honeywell to identify the pack quantity. U is unit or single. /B is bulk and is usually reserved to OEM. /P is pallet and also usually reserved for OEM.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThis valve must be used with one of the actuators listed under the product description. The V5013N1071 is made of brass, which is sufficient for closed systems.

Q: what fitting do i need for the bottom connection

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffThe same pipe fittings as the other 2 ports. You cannot block or otherwise shut off the bottom port of the valve. If you shut off the bottom port, you are likely to have severe water hammer and reduced life of the valve. Any modfications to the valve will also void the warranty on the unit.
