ICM's 1500 Series Intermittent Ignition Oil Primary Controls come standard with patented energy transfer technology that ensures the fuel valve and pump will only be energized if the control is functioning properly. Features a solid state flame sensing circuit, LED to indicate system lockout, an enclosed safety switch and an external reset button. Direct replacement for popular competitive models.

Great Value for the product
I have not used it yet as I bought it for a backup but it looks exactly the same as the honeywell one I have- but at a much better price. Have tested it. Works well. Can't say about longevity.
Also, It is made in the USA and so your purchase helps keep out economy strong. A win-win situation!

Q: This unit will shut off the ignitor after the cad cell detects a flame? I'm guessing that is what the intemittant ignition is?

Verified Reply- SupplyHouse StaffHello. Yes, exactly. It uses a C554A Cadmium Sulfide (cad cell) Flame Detector to monitor the burner flame.

Q: when i press the reset button the burner fires for about 1 minute then shuts down. what could be the cause for this? Please I have no hot water!
