I think the problem with these control board are the homeowners installing them. Usually the main problem is the person, homeowner, doing their own work, doesn't know what they are even looking at, or even what connection does what function. If they spent the money on having it done by a professional they wouldn't have to spend the time on this site complaining about the control board that more then likely isn't bad at all.
I had similar problem but when I put the Fan from Manual to Auto on my thermostat, it started working for me. I don't think this board will work with the Fan in manual while in the Heat mode.
