Perfect fix for leaky fridge water dispenser!
Fridge dispenser had an obnoxious drip. We could not solve it. Even replaced the valves and still no good. Places this little guy online with the water line and boom! No more drips. When you stop filling the glass it stops coming out. It used to drip three or four times right away and then continue to drip once ever 15 min or so. Anyways. Great fix!

Exactly what I needed
I setup a dehumidifier in my encapsulated crawl space. The dehumidifier came with a built in pump and 20ft of plastic 1/4" discharge line. From within the crawlspace, I tapped into a 1.5" pvc pipe with a wye fitting and 1/2" threaded adapter. I used the John Guest 1/4" to 1/2" male pipe thread adapter along with this check valve to complete the install. I wanted to make sure no potential backups could make there way back into the dehumidifier discharge line. The pump was able to discharge through the check valve with no problems. Shipping was also fast and easy.
