4" Shower Drain/Floor Drain Chrome Plated Cast, Square Strainer, PVC

I called with a question about something I wanted to buy. I could not hear the girl so I said hello and she fumbled with her head set or phone and rudely said YES! How may I help you very curtly and rude. The issue was she either didn't have her mic on or her headset on. I hung up because I didn't want to have to deal with a rude sales rep.

The 4" square drain in our shower needed a replacement and all I could find was a brushed nickel finish which I installed. When I found the chrome plated version at Supply House I was thrilled. I didn't need the drain plumbing, just the chrome strainer, but the price was right and it arrived quickly. It looks much better than the brushed nickel.

Worked well for a shower pan build. I almost always use a drain with the square strainer, because most of the shower floors I do are with square tile. If I was doing a pebble floor, I would use a round strainer, but this square one was what I needed for this job. It is a very nice quality PVC drain. Not sure why it's dark grey plastic rather than white, but it worked well and seemed very good quality.
