Under eave exhaust vent
I could not find this vent at large hardware stores or in smaller plumbing and HVAC stores locally. SupplyHouse had it, shipped it and it arrived within three days. The vent was a perfect fit and was easy to install. It does not come with screw to attach it, but I reused the screws from the old vent. Good quality product. What I received was exactly what I ordered and exactly what I needed!

Looks good, but flap seems useless
I may just not understand its purpose, but I don't get why the hinged flap is there. If you mount the vent with the opening facing down, which is how I see all vents mounted, the flap just hangs open, so I don't see the point of it at all unless it was on a spring or something. However the vent itself is sturdy plastic and looks good, I just removed the flap. It's just open but would have been with flap hanging anyway.

I would buy this ender eave vent again.
I used this under eave vent for a bathroom vent. The new bathroom fan was 3" and I wanted a 3" eave vent to match. I liked that I could set it up to blow away from the house instead of just down from the eave. It would have been nice if it had a screen, but I was able to easily add a screen to it.
