–
Forged brass two-piece body, chrome plated forged brass ball, and cast aluminum tee handle or Dacromet® coated steel handle. A ball valve has greater flow than traditional low pressure valves. No lead boiler hose bibbs are forged using binary brass. T-536 is one-piece forged brass body. Configurations and Sizes: MNPT (1/2" is also Sweat) and FNPT in 1/2", 3/4".

Great Product
An easy 1/4 turn faucet that fits my water heater as well as my outdoor faucet. With a 1/4 turn of the ball valve, you have full access to the water volume. Its sold as a replacement for your water heater valve but I found a better use on my outdoor faucet. Will buy again. Thank you SupplyHouse!

Quality product that saves me time
Use this product when blowing out irrigation systems. The opening through this drain valve is significantly bigger than most other drain valves. As a result, systems get winterized faster. There is always a time crunch at the end of the year to winterize systems before the temperature drops. Drain valve has solid construction and I have not had an issue to date with the lever handle not working properly.

I would recommend this product
Replaced the original drain valve on my hot water heater with this lead-free ball valve. It fit perfectly and I was able to install it in minutes. Using Teflon tape around the threads, there were no leaks. Draining the water heater will now be a breeze.

Nice valve but too short
I bought this valve as a replacement for the drain valve on my water heater. It feels like a good valve, but it's too short to reach through the insulation on the water heater. I had to buy an extension to make it work.
