I would buy this product again and use Supply House.
Mounted product to bulk head plate, connected cpvc pipe and ball valves for water heater.

It does the trick.
I needed to add a expansion tank to my water line by my water heater while redoing my 1920s house's plumbing. I needed it to hang from the ceiling above the WH to be convenient for the space. The mounting holes and threads are all solidly cast brass, and easily will hold the weight of the 2 gallon tank even when it fails and fills up someday. This is a hard-to-find piece, so I recommend buying 2 or 3 just in case the CPVC install process messes up, or in case of some other crazy thing happening!

They seem okay
Lighter than typical drop ears I have purchased. No supply houses carry 3/4 drop earred 90s in my area so this will have to do for now. Haven't had any issues at this moment with them but they do not seem as high as a quality as bigger name brands. I could always be wrong though and time will tell.
