Great combo option for ball/check valve
This ball/check valve combo is designed and built well. It also saves space, compared to individual valves and unions. It can be used in horizontal or vertical applications, which is helpful. I always try to keep a spare on-hand.
The check valve portion is a traditional "flapper" style, so don't buy this expecting a silent check valve.
