I actually DID buy this product again...because I like the original (in about 5 yrs now) so much, would miss it terribly if it went out and I couldn't get another. So this on is a spare, sitting on the shelf for the day I might need it. This pump had gone up about 100 bucks over the last one, so by the time I get around to needing it, it will probably have gone up a LOT more, inflation being 'transitory' and all.

to start with you are limited to 40 psi inlet pressure. The customer had a 40/60 but with over 250' away from pump the pressure would go down to 20 psi. I tried an inlet regulator, pump inlet would go to 5 psi and outlet was 25psi, changed to 20/40 switch and moved the regulator to the discharge, now 20 psi inlet and 30psi outlet. I Installed this just as the installation diagram showed, spent a day and half. ripped it all out and bought a 3/4hp FLOTEC and put it on a pressure 50/70 switch. Put the 40/60 switch back on the pump and installed a 20 gallon pressure tank before the booster pump inlet to handle initial water draw, booster pump maintains 50psi, customer happy, BUT I'm a lot poorer. I guess I can use this pump as a boat anchor.

Leaks
I've installed six of these, and every single one has been a struggle to keep from leaking. The plastic threads never seal properly, and the last one leaked straight out of the box. I would never install or service one again.

Good Pump - Short Life
This brand of pump was installed in my basement to supplement pressure. The first leak was a pressure switch, which was repairable. Around the 3 year mark, the pump leaked from weep holes. The leak was part of the molded head unit (some defect). It could have been from vibration; I'm not sure. I had to buy and install a new one. The purchasing experience was good. Received quickly. Install was not difficult. It works fine. I just don't know how long it will last.

I would buy this product again if needed
The little giant inline 400 was a great purchase, works like a charm. The service provided by Suppy House was also superb. Supplied everything I needed and more.

I might purchase again
First, Supply House had the exact replacement part. Very fortunate to have found it and at a reasonable cost.
Secondly, the pump itself, might have a design flaw. I say this due to the leak I had under the head cover. Water was leaking out of a crack in the plastic and out of the weep holes. This is the second pump in 4.5 years.

Would not use this system again.
I purchased this unit two years ago to booster pressure to a older house with 30 psi. It has worked till now but one of the pressure switches has gone bad . It should be under warranty according to customer service but they are out of parts till January. Customer Service people tell you something different on every call. Parts are expensive to buy and unit has a lot of parts that will probably fail.

Yes l would buy this again
I bought this pump to push the well pressure up through my filters and uv light and water softener they all rob pressure and my well can't keep up. This pump does the job very well, you will just need to have a regulator before and after the pump, it seems to be built very well.

Overall great service
We did have a problem with the first one we bought. It had a manufacturers defect. We were given a credit tight away and did purchase another one which is working great.
Supply House has been very reliable with available parts and delivery.

Booster pump for city low water pressure, I am 350' from street with 3/4" copper line.
Designed to automatically start boosting when discharge pressure drops below 40 PSI, but can be adjusted to meet your needs. Wide range of pressure adjustment settings; 25-80 PSI.
