Very easy to use, and works great
I'm using this in a hot water system fired by a Wood Gun boiler from Alternate Heating Systems and a hot air exchanger in existing ductwork (plan to add radiant to a section of the house within the month and use another Lux thermostat in that room). I'm very pleased with how easy it is to program. It is set up to fire the fan in the plenum and the circulating pump at the same time. I'm very pleased with how it does this.

Does what it is supposed to.
This unit was on sale so I ordered it to replace an older digital when I replaced a taco zone valve. It's easy to program and seems to work fine. The only complaints I have are 1) I was hoping the display would be on all the time, not just when I push a button. The manual doesn't mention any way to wire it to do this. 2) it does not anticipate reaching the set point very well when going from a cool to a warm period. The heat will initially surge 3-4º over set point but will hold the set point very accurately after that. All in all though, for what I paid, I'm satisfied.

Good replacement for older Lux
Replaced my old Lux 500. Was able to use old mounting holes (barely). Back lit numbers aren't bright but easy enough to read in the dark. Make sure to read the install manual (duh) and change the jumper and hardware reset if you have an electric furnace.

Happy so far
I purchased this Luxpro T-Stat for the Swing Setting and Temp Calibration features. I'm still experimenting to get it where I want it, but my old T-Stat cycled way to much and didn't have these features. I hope to see a drop in my electric bill once it's set correctly.

Easy programming
Nice thermostat, easy to wire up and program. I wish it would display set temperature instead of just room temperature. That's my only negative and it's not that big a deal. Set and forget.

Verified Reply- Supply House StaffOnce you have replaced your filter, the filter life counter is reset back to its full amount remaining value by turning the dial to AIR FILTER and pressing the UP and DOWN buttons together at the same time.

Q: Can I adjust the differential on the LUX-PRO PSP 511 LC thermostat. If yes what is the range that it can be adjusted.

Verified Reply- PexSupply StaffEach temperature swing (differential) number represents a .25° F±. There are 9 swing settings; Swing #1= .25° F±, swing #4= 1.00 ° F ± and swing #9= 2.25 ° F±.

Found the following on a website that sells them. It was in with the rest of the specs. Adjustable Temperature Differential/Cycle Rate (.25 - 2.25ºF) which In laymen terms means you can adjust the differential 1/4 degree Fahrenheit to 2 and 1/4 degrees Fahrenheit. Mike

Q: I have a broken Lux PSP511LA programmable thermostat. Can I use the PSP511LC as a replacement without changing the wiring? i.e. can I slide the latter model on without changing any wiring.
