Bought 6, for three HVAC units
Thought my HVAC units, inside and outside, needed surge protection with TN electrical storms. My city's main substation was just knocked out twice. within an hour, during a recent storm. So not sure what utility outages/restarts are doing to the equipment. I really like Green-OK LED and Red-Used Up LED. Esay to mount, weather-proof, and seemingly well-made.

Great surge ratings, easy to install
I bought six of these to cover three regular inside/outside heat pumps; six disconnects/units. Easily mounted in a regular 1/2" disconnect knockout. Really nice that it has green-OK, red-not protection LEDs to easily check whether active. The surge ratings/voltages are very good coverage for the size and price. Seems nicely weather-proof. I will update this review as I have more experience.

A must have for mini split units
You wouldn't hook your computer up without a surge protector and your mini split controls are just like your computer all pc boards. Do yourself a favor and install these with every unit you put in. You will save yourself and your customers a headache

Just what the HVAC doctor ordered
