Bought one and then my Buddy wanted one too!
With my aging hands, trying to release plastic tubing fittings is a painful task and I have to do it a lot. This tool works well, although is some cases, I have to help it by gripping the tubing with my free hand and sliding my thumb up against the gripper of the tool. I prefer to have this situation rather than to have the gripper top damage the tubing. I love this tool!

Needs some improvements in quality
The pliers actually work great. They allow you to quickly and easily remove Sharkbite fittings but within days they were starting to come apart. After about 4 uses I noticed that there were several screws that were coming loose and the jaws became sloppy. I tried tightening the screws to find one was stripped out. They are also pretty heavy.

Does not work well
The part that is supposed to hold the tube does not hold and slips. I had to use another pair of pliers to hold these pliers closed so that it could grab the Pex.

don't think it's that good . gave it time to see if it would get easier to work with but it's just needs to be played with more to get the [bugs] out of it. does not hold pipe very tight

Nice, but not perfect.
This tool is great. It just doesn't work if you have a P2C fitting without much pipe after it, like in tight connection sections.

I would not buy this again
After repeated attempts with myself and two plumbers, the sharkbite quick-release pliers would not grip the tubing and fitting to release and pull apart. Simply does not work or is defective.

These are ten different kinds of awesome!
If someone gives these a negative review, they obviously have no clue how to use them! These make removing Sharkbite connectors a quick breeze! Extremely easy to use and works great!

Waste of money
Attempted to use on 1/2" copper, would not grip the line. May be useful on larger diameter pipe, but for me the bulk of what I deal with is 1/2" and it's pretty much useless.
