Auto feed a joke
Whole tool is a disappointment. Too heavy to hold while using and the autofeed was a joke from day one. Milwaukee good, M18 drain snake a fail...

Not worth it
This thing is terrible. The auto feed mechanism barely works, and forget about locking it up to give a better push. Don't waste your money. I'm usually a fan of Milwaukee tools but this one is a big L.

Good purchase
2nd one in about 4 yrs . That one just stopped and starts flashing. $475 return on investment as a plumber its priceless little machine . I like the feed control and the power. GO MILWAUKEE GO!

Pays for itself the first time it works
My neighborhood is full of plumbers. They all have two of these on their trucks in addition to the larger sectional machines. The cordless units definitely cannot handle every situation the universe will throw at you but they can handle a lot of very common ones with far less setup time and they're at least $200 cheaper than a plumber to boot. If it works once, it's more than paid for itself.
In my case I had an upstairs sink that backed up all the time and was completely unresponsive to hardware store snakes and chemical solutions. With roughly five minutes worth of training, I was able to get this thing past three of the worst cast iron elbow fittings the 1950s had to offer and pull out two toothpaste caps and part of a child's toy which had become lodged and caked in several inches of rusty sludge. Roughly five drops of that sludge wound up on the bottom of the cabinet, the rest was completely contained by the drum as it retracted. The sink is back in service.
Two things that I don't like about this kit: 1) It should come with the 50 foot cable and 2) The manual's instructions for changing the cable are completely bonkers. They tell you to remove the battery, put the machine in reverse and pull the trigger. It's an electric tool. Pulling the trigger does nothing when the battery's not attached. You pretty much have to figure out how that process works all by yourself.
